"All done," Elijah throws the last cotton bud into the bin next to his bed.

"Thank you." I remove the hair tie from my wrist and quickly tie my hair up. Once it's off my neck I feel much cooler.

"Let's hope that the bat didn't have rabies."

"Or cooties," I quip as I touch my face and grimace.

"Leave them alone," he growls and pulls my hand away.

"I don't understand, why on earth was that bat in the store? It makes no sense." I lean down and remove my boots.

"Yeah, fucking weird." Elijah steps into the bathroom attached to his room. Next second, the shower turns on. I rub the soles of my feet as Elijah flits around the room, opening drawers and pulling clothes out.

"I'll - I'll go find Jenna." I say, slowly standing.

"It's not for me," he says, holding out his hand, "that bat took a shit all down your front."

I look down at myself and giggle. I do, indeed, have a large white stain down my front. "Oh," taking his hand, I let him lead me into the bathroom.

"Take as long as you need." He smiles through the steam and then locks the door behind him.
